James Bruner is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. He began singing early in life and playing guitar by the age of 15. His interest in playing guitar was sparked by skateboarding videos and getting his hands on classic rock records. By 2019 James had already had his fair share of life on the stage from participating in school musicals to being a frontman for a rock band from 2018-2019. After discovering his joy for writing songs he decided to take his music to Nashville, Tennessee in 2020 to play on. Inspired by the music of James Bay, Jeff Buckley, and David Bowie James flutters with emotion, harmonies, and originality when telling stories through music.
